You can now work an incident where you read it. Status and severity are controls on the incident page, you can assign the incident to a teammate by name, and notes are saved with their author. A verdict control records whether the incident was real, so the answer stays with the incident for the next person who opens it.
Members with triage access can make these changes. Everyone else sees the same fields, including the verdict, read-only. Status, severity and assignment changes are recorded in the audit log.
